The Seventh Reunion of the 585th Engineer Company   (Vietnam) Association will be held at the El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel, San Antonio, Texas.   The dates are Sunday May 1 through Wednesday May 4, 2011; with reunion rates available four days before and four after our gathering.

  Association members attending this reunion are responsible for booking their own rooms.  To make reservations call Toll free reservation number: 1-866-423-7814 or email to reservations@eltropicanohotel.com,  Our  special Room Rate- $106.00 daily; 2 people to a room; rate includes 16.75% taxes and hot buffet breakfast.  You will need to make special arrangements to get children billeted and to get meal tickets for their breakfast. Please contact  Ken  personally if you are planning to bring guests to our reunion. As advertised in the past, we welcome all Vietnam Vets and their families at our reunions.  Please register as soon as possible.  We will get a 50% discount on parking ($9.00) a day after the discount.  The 585th Club and hospitality room will be located on the first floor of the hotel.

Due to the location of our 7th reunion, we will use the same approach to our Reunion Raffle as we did in  Las Vegas.  The Reunion Raffle is very important to the 585th as it is the major source of funds for our operation and projects.  I assure you our organization needs a reliable source of funds to maintain our website, purchase awards for outstanding service, supporting worthwhile organizations and projects and to maintain an account to meet unforeseeable future needs.  Therefore, I am requesting all members attending our 7th reunion, if possible, please bring a prize for our raffle.  Robert Henry will again be our Grand Auctioneer. Your support is essential for this fund raising event,   Thanks in advance for the present and past support of  our worthwhile organization.

Please bring with you copies of any orders you may have from while  you were with the 585th.  This is the best tool there is in locating people, as there are many other members names on them that we have yet to locate.  Also, please bring with you any photos you might have so we can put them on our website to share.
